The ASLA-NCC's 2011 Annual Meeting and Professional Awards Presentation took place Thursday, April 21, at the Lake Chalet in Oakland. A beautiful evening and sunset on Lake Merritt provided a lovely backdrop to networking and socializing with colleagues prior to and after the awards presentation.

Forty entries were submitted for this year's Professional Awards Competition. Congratulations to all Award recipients and our thanks to all of the participants in this year’s Professional Awards Competition.
 
This year's Annual Awards jury was chaired by Peter Callander, ASLA of Callander Associates, and comprised of Eric Blasen, ASLA of Blasen Landscape Architecture, Allegra Bukojemsky, ASLA, Marybeth Harasz, ASLA of Facilities Architectural Services for the City of San Jose, and Mitch Wilks, ASLA of WilksCo and President of ASLA/NCC.
