The ASLA-NCC Student Award is open to students in the UCBX Landscape Architecture Certificate Program who will be graduating in the current or coming academic year. The award is offered annually, coinciding with the ASLA-NCC Professional Awards Presentation.

Entry requirements call for students to submit an electronic portfolio of up to four sheets. Portfolio content is selected by the student, and can include one or multiple projects. The submission can be accompanied by a statement (maximum 100 words) that communicates the student’s objectives.

The award is judged by selected members of the ASLA-NCC board (judges cannot be current instructors or administrators in the UCBX Certificate Program.) Submissions are judged by the clarity of message, the effectiveness of submissions and graphic merit.
