Celebrating 29-years of service to California’s trail professionals and volunteers!

The ultimate desert playground, nestled at the base of the majestic Mt. San Jacinto State Park, the Palm Springs area offers a wide variety of trail education opportunities and adventures for most all trail advocates. With assistance from land managing agencies, dedicated trail organizations and interest groups from the greater Palm Springs area, an exciting line-up of learning and networking opportunities will surely benefit both expert and novice trail professionals and volunteers.


Conference attendees include local, state and federal agencies, service providers, and numerous trail related nonprofit and conservation organizations; making this event a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new solutions and partnerships, and learn from hundreds of experienced and dedicated trail professionals. For budget purposes only, full registration (including 5 meals) is estimated to be $315 plus room costs of $115++ per night standard.

Effective October 1st, Michele Modellas joined the Trails Conference team as the Foundation’s Executive Director, stepping in for Lauralee who will provide guidance through the 2014 Conference. A triathlete with a passion for running and cycling, Michele brings 20-years of experience in managing conferences, large and small. Committed to high standards and integrity, Michele’s skills and passion for trails and the outdoors are certain to contribute significantly to the ongoing success of the California Trails & Greenways Conference.
