On sunny days the concrete platform absorbs heat and radiates warmth during cool evenings.
This secluded seating platform cantilevers above the surrounding meadow.
A casual pathway descends down to the meadow and wooded areas of the property.
Carefully selected paving and colors harmonize with the pool and larger landscape.
Sheltered by a glass guardrail this fireplace becomes a desirable gathering space at night.

This rural project comes alive through the contrast of soft restorative transitions and distinctive landscape elements that pay respect to the pristine natural setting. The sculpted garden is experienced on multiple levels, from floating above the breathtaking regional landscape, to descending into a sunken courtyard, to sitting at the edge of a lush reestablished meadow.
