New Mentorship Program

New Mentorship Program

“Everyone has something to teach, and something to learn.” That’s the philosophy guiding the innovative new Mentorship Program introduced by the Emerging Professionals group. Beginning this fall, the program will bring together ASLA members of all levels to share experiences and insights. Instead of a typical one-to-one mentoring style, though, the program creates informal, collaborative teams comprised of senior, midlevel, and entry level professionals. This ensures mentorship can happen on every level: e.g. senior members can learn about cutting-edge technologies from entry level members, while midlevel members can obtain sound business advice from their more seasoned peers. No matter what your experience, this is a great chance to enrich the landscape architecture community with your own expertise while forging valuable, lasting connections. Watch the ASLA-NCC Calendar for upcoming social events and other opportunities to get involved; and apply now to teach something… and learn something… yourself! Applications are online at www.asla-ncc.org/programs/mentorship .
